This statistic shows some of the biggest barriers in achieving sustainable cost reductions in a health organization, according to a survey conducted among leading representatives of U.S. hospitals and health systems in February 2016. It was found that approximately 57 percent of the surveyed reported that lack of data on the true cost of care is the biggest barrier in achieving sustainable cost reductions.
