This statistic displays the fuel use for electricity generation from Combined Heat and Power (CHP) schemes in the United Kingdom (UK) from 2010 to 2018, by fuel type, in gigawatt hours. It shows that the amount of renewable fuels used in CHP schemes increased over this period, from 3,418 gigawatt hours in 2010 to 9,854 gigawatt hours in 2018. The use of natural gas on the other hand has decreased notably.
