The TEC register provides a publicly available record of the existing allocation of Transmission Entry Capacity (TEC), the business it is allocated to and the site details.
Transmission entry capacity (TEC) of renewables, excluding hydro, wind and solar presented a trend of continuous growth in the United Kingdom, peaking at 3,707 megawatts in 2019. At that same time, TEC of wind power stations amounted to 8,647 megawatts.
