During a survey of Canadians conducted in early 2022 it was found that ** percent of respondents said they trusted the news media, this result was percent lower than in the previous year, and substantially lower than the ** percent trust rate Canadians shown in news media prior to 2019. Large corporations have seen the least amount of trust placed in them by Canadians throughout the entire measured period, however, the government lost the most trust in the last year, falling by ** percent.
