The clothing company has its roots in Dusseldorf, where the headquarters are still located, and looks back on a long history that started at the beginning of the twentieth century. The Hamburg branch was founded a decade later. Although Peek & Cloppenburg has a high brand awareness in Germany, the popularity leaves more to be desired. This might be the reason the company missed a place among the top ten textile retailers in Germany in terms of revenue.
