Global supply share of graphite by country 2018
This statistic displays the distribution of the raw material supply of graphite worldwide as of 2018, by country. During that year, a 56 percent share of graphite supply came from China. Graphite is primarily used for refractory parts due to its high heat resistance. It has also been used in one of the longest lived and highest performing battery anodes developed. Graphene is also produced from graphite.
