This statistic displays the results of a survey on the frequency of social media usage in Germany in February 2015, by social media site. The survey was conducted panel-based and gathered data from *** social media users in Germany. It was found, that **** percent of responding Facebook users stated that they accessed Facebook on average once per day. Facebook users showed the highest proportion of social media users who access social media several times per day, with **** percent of respondents who use Facebook doing so. Of Instagram users **** percent access Instagram several times per day and **** percent of people who use lokalisten.de use it less than once a month. When looking at the gender of social media users in Germany, it shows that slightly more women use social media on several occasions per day and slightly more men use social media on a weekly basis. When it comes to the frequency of social media usage among different age groups in Germany, people below the age of ** all use social media several times per day.
