This statistic shows the total value of loans outstanding on the microfinance market in selected European countries from 2012 to 2017, divided by the purpose of the loan. As of 2017, the European microfinance institutions managed a loan portfolio of approximately 1.72 billion euros in outstanding business microloans and a portfolio of almost 1.16 billion in personal consumption loans.
