Over the four year period, arts engagement remained fairly stable across both genders. In 2013 and 2014, ** percent of women had engaged in the arts within the year prior to survey compared to ** percent of male respondents. 'Engagement' refers to attending and/or participating in the arts sector, for example visiting an art gallery or giving a theatre performance.
