Assets under management include captive AuM of insurance groups or pension funds where AuM is delegated to asset managers with fees paid. A total of 44 markets were covered by the source, including offshore AuM. For all the countries using currencies other than US dollars, the source applied the end-of-year 2024 exchange rate to all years.
