This statistic shows the carbon dioxide emissions of vehicles from different car segment types in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2017. Luxury cars emitted by far the most carbon dioxide into the atmosphere from exhaust, releasing 73 g/km more than mini segment cars. Sports cars and dual purpose cars also emitted relatively high levels of carbon dioxide at 155 and 141.3 g/km each respectively.
