This statistic shows the number of visitors to destinations which featured in screen products before and after the film/TV series release. In 1993, 80,000 passengers were arriving in Kefalonia, Greece on charter flights per year. After the release of Captain Corelli's Mandolin in 2001, 170,000 passengers were arriving in Kefalonia on charter flights per year by 2002.
