In 2023, British films grossed around 1.23 billion U.S. dollars at the box office in eight countries across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Approximately 548.6 million dollars were generated in China. Australia and Japan followed with box office revenues of 235.3 million and 177.1 million dollars, respectively. Still, movies made in or co-produced by the United Kingdom accounted for seven percent of China's box office revenue in 2023.
