Shell, former Royal Dutch Shell, is a United Kingdom-based oil and gas conglomerate. The company operates across the whole value chain, from exploration and production to refining and marketing. Shell regularly generates revenues exceeding 300 billion U.S. dollars, making it one of the largest companies within the energy sector. Shell increases dividends pay-out

Since the financially turbulent start to the decade, Shell has begun increasing its dividend pay-outs. Between 2021 and 2024, the value of dividends paid grew by roughly one fourth, reaching 8.67 billion U.S. dollars in 2024. That same year, the earnings per share stood at 3.76 U.S. dollars, a decline from 4.2 U.S. dollars a year before.
