SciPlay, previously the Social division within the global gaming leader Scientific Games, became an independent company in 2019. In October 2023, SciPlay was acquired by Light & Wonder (L&W) and has ceased to be traded publicly. The company is now a fully owned subsidiary of L&W.
Social casino gaming platform SciPlay reported 2.3 million average daily active users in 2022, virtually unchanged from the previous year. The company's monthly active user base declined slightly year-over-year.
