SciPlay, previously the Social division within the global gaming leader Scientific Games, became an independent company in 2019. In October 2023, SciPlay was acquired by Light & Wonder (L&W) and has ceased to be traded publicly. The company is now a fully owned subsidiary of L&W.
Social gaming platform SciPlay reported six million average monthly active users in 2022, down from 6.2 million average DAU in the previous year. The company publishes casual, casino, and bingo gaming titles.
