In 2025, Russia ranked first by average inflation rate among the 9 countries presented in the ranking. Russia's inflation amounted to 8.68 percent, while Brazil and the United Kingdom, the second and third countries, had records amounting to 5.02 percent and 3.37 percent, respectively.

This indicator measures inflation based upon the year-on-year change in the average consumer price index, expressed in percent. The latter expresses a country's average level of prices based on a typical basket of consumer goods and services.
