Offshore installations in the UK

As of February 2025, the UK was home to many of the largest offshore wind farm projects operating worldwide. The Hornsea project, comprising phases 1 and 2, has an operating capacity that exceeds *** gigawatts and ranks as the largest offshore site globally. The project is located off the East Cost in the North Sea and, in total, comprises ***operational offshore wind turbines.
