Background of Huawei

Huawei is a Chinese multinational technology company, which mainly produces telecommunication services and equipment, with smartphones being one of the companies most popular products sold worldwide. The headquarters is located in Shenzhen, the major technological advancement hub in China. In the last few years, Huawei has shifted its business focus from carrier network to technological innovations. With this transition, both the revenue and the net profit of Huawei surged in the same period, increasing three-fold, though China is still the primary market; generating the largest share of Huawei’s revenue.
