Share of under-5 year olds who were overweight worldwide 2024, by region
In 2024, almost ten percent of children aged under five were overweight in the Western Pacific region, the highest prevalence worldwide. The proportion of overweight children among under-fives in the Americas region was also relatively high, standing at over nine percent.
