The Company Ranking classifies Spanish companies according to their sales figures in the year under study, which is obtained based on the individual financial statements filed by each company with the Mercantile Registry, with a closing date between July of the year under study and June of the following year (a 12-month period).
Due to the update system used by the source, data from two different years sometimes appear mixed in the ranking. ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ has verified each figure in the individual company profiles and includes only 2016 data in this classification.
The INFORMA D&B Database, from which the data has been obtained, is fed by multiple sources of information, both public and private, such as the BORME (Official Gazette of the Mercantile Registry), official account filings, the BOE (Official State Gazette), provincial and regional official gazettes, national and regional press, ad hoc investigations, and various publications.
