This statistic presents the distribution of the annual expenditure of international tourists who traveled to Spain for work-related reasons between 2020 and 2022, according to the main purpose of the trip. In 2020 and 2021, international tourists arriving in Spain did not do so to attend fairs, congresses, or conventions due to the restrictions in place as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, however, an expenditure of around million U.S. dollars was recorded for this reason.
