Since 2016, the number of tourists with habitual residence outside Spanish territory who rented a home in the country remained above * million annually. However, 2020 experienced a significant drop, recording just over * million international tourists who rented homes in Spain. The situation returned to a positive trend just one year later, and in 2023, the figure was again above **** million.
