Ryanair announced on February 19, 2025, that it would cease operations in Jerez and Valladolid and reduce its offerings at the airports of Santiago, Zaragoza, Asturias, Santander, and Vigo starting in the summer. For the capital of Castile and León, this translates into a loss of slightly more than ** percent compared to the seats offered in 2024. In Vigo, however, they seem to have managed to come out more or less unscathed, since despite the sharp reduction in operations by the Irish airline, its summer offering is expected to be * percent higher than the previous year.
