This statistic presents the distribution of the number of international air passengers in Spain in 2023 and 2024, based on the airport or group of airports. In 2024, Barcelona-El Prat airport had around 40 million international passengers, which was eight million fewer than Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport. However, compared to the international traffic recorded at the Catalan airport in 2023, there was an increase in passengers. Meanwhile, Group I, which includes a total of eight airports such as Valencia, Ibiza, and Málaga, experienced an increase of ten million international passengers between 2023 and 2024, with traffic exceeding 60 million travelers from abroad in 2024.
