The 2023 survey was partly integrated into the CREDOC survey system on Living Conditions and Aspirations. Two complementary surveys were implemented to question the population aged 12 and over and those distant from digital technology (people without a fixed internet connection line at home). The survey was conducted among three distinct target populations (ages 12 to 17, 18 and over, 18 and over distant from digital technology), with adapted questionnaires and specific quotas, and through two types of data collection:
- 3,448 people aged 18 and over were surveyed online in the CDV survey (within each region, quotas on: age, gender, socio-professional category, education level, urban area size, type of housing).
- 601 people aged 18 and over distant from digital technology (without a fixed internet connection line at home) were surveyed by phone, with quotas based on 2022 data from the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) survey by Insee (gender, age, socio-professional category, region, urban area size).
- 218 people aged 12 to 17 were surveyed online, after obtaining prior consent from one of the parents, with the following quotas: age, gender, region, urban area size, and socio-professional category of the reference person.
