This chart shows the ownership rates of retirement savings from Popular Retirement Savings Plans (PERP) and Popular Savings Plans (PEP) in France in 2018, according to the age of the household reference person. At that time, about 23 percent of French households with a reference person aged 50 to 59 held a retirement savings plan, and about 6 percent of French households with a reference person under 30 also owned a retirement savings plan.
