In Mexico, detections of cervical cancer have increased since 2020, reaching 3,000 diagnoses of malignant tumors in 2022. These figures represent an increase of 792 new cases compared to 2020. In response to this situation, the country has begun implementing free Pap smear tests with the aim of facilitating early detection of the disease.
