This statistic describes the opinions of French men in 2024 on the behavior men should adopt to be "respected" in society. Among all the mentioned situations, two received majority agreement from men, namely: financially taking care of their family and succeeding in their career. More than one quarter of French men also believe that men should not show their emotions and should know how to fight. One in ten men thinks that driving fast and being violent are necessary to gain respect as a man in France.
