In 2025, around ** percent of people shopping for children joining kindergarten started purchasing back-to-school items in late June/ early July. By comparison ** percent of shoppers for grades 7 to 12 waited until mid-to-late August before beginning their shopping. The general trend is that those shopping for older children started their shopping later comapred to those shopping for younger children.
