ChatGPT was the preferred generative artificial intelligence (AI) tool for around 80 percent of surveyed adults in the United States, according to a May 2025 survey. When considering general-purpose AI tools, Gemini ranked third, being mentioned by 21 percent of the respondents. However, content-creating tools such as Midjourney and ¶Ù´¡³¢³¢Â··¡ were cited by 25 percent and 14 percent of interviewees, respectively, and were ranked second and fourth among the mentioned platforms.
