According to data collected among users of Shinhan credit cards in South Korea aged 60 years or above, the consumer group called "active seniors" spent around **** million South Korean won per month on average, a multiple compared to older adults of the same age group. Active seniors are a consumer group defined by their active participation in society and the economy after reaching retirement age. In this survey, they specifically refer to Shinhand Card customers aged 60 and above who fall within the top 20 percent of total credit card spending.
