According to a survey in 2024, better approval rates and better customer service were the leading deciding factors among business owners of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) for borrowing from fintech providers in emerging economies in Asia, with around ** percent of the respondents finding it very important. Less complex application process, flexible terms, speed of receiving funds, and enhanced transparency were also among the important factors leading to decisions to borrow on fintech platforms, with about ** percent of the respondents stating it was very important.
