Austria has won the 69th Eurovision Song Contest that took place in Basel in May 2025. The country's representative JJ scored a total of 436 points, from both the professional jury and the public televote, for his song "Wasted Love". However, while winning over the juries, he ranked only fourth in the public vote, behind Sweden, Estonia and televote winner Israel. And still, his result wasn't the one, where the jury and the public differed the most. Switzerland, second with the jury at 214, received the dreaded nul points from the viewers at home.
