High cholesterol among Gen Z in the U.S. as of 2024, by obesity status
Using data from UnitedHealth Group and the Health Action Council, the rate of high cholesterol among Gen Z who were not obese was estimated to be one percent. However, it was estimated that around five percent of Gen Z who were obese have high cholesterol.Â
