In the first major poll for the second round of the Romanian presidential election of 2025, the AUR candidate, George Simion, and the independent candidate Nicușor Dan are in a perfect tie, each being quoted with 48.2 percent. This is in the voting intention for the second round of the presidential elections scheduled for May 18. For the context, in the first round of elections on the 4th of May, George Simion obtained 40.96 percent of the votes, followed by Nicușor Dan, with 20.99 percent.
