Nintendo Switch 2, scheduled to launch in June 2025, is a hybrid video game console and the succesor to Nintendo's original Switch, released in 2017. The launch of this console is predicted to generate significant audience and market opportunities throughout the next years. For example, the Switch 2 represents around seven to eight billion U.S. dollars in games content opportunities over the next two years, as well as one to two billion U.S. dollars in additional in-game spending on a yearly basis. In addition, the audience for Nintendo Switch 1 and 2 combined is expected to reach 130 million people by the end of 2026.
