In a 2025 survey amongst social media influencers in the Middle East and North Africa region, the respondents were asked which countries in the region showed the most positive tranformation happening in areas such as smart government, technology, mobility, etc. Around ** percent believed that the United Arab Emirates was leading the region in the positive transformation of smart government.Â
Of those surveyed, 56 percent were based in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon being the other two largest groups of residency among the survey respondents.Â
