The Romanian real estate sector recorded a total investment volume of over *** million euros in the first half of 2024, which was *** percent more than in the first half of 2023. There were ** transactions. The largest one had a value of million euros for the purchase of the nationwide Globalworth portfolio by CTP. After the pandemic, the share of office investment volume dropped from ** percent to ** percent, and in Romania's first half of 2024, only one transaction was made — accounting for percent of investment volume. Most of the investors' source of capital was from the European Union (EU), while over a quarter was from domestic investors, primarily focused on the retail sector.
