In 2024, Romania's retail modern stock reached *** million square meters after delivering that year ** square meters of new supply. Tertiary cities, with a Gross Leasable Area (GLA) below 100,000 square meters, benefited from an increase in modern retail stock, cities attracetd new retail properties, especially Bistrita, Hunedoara, Giurgiu, Moinesti, Ocna Mures, Valenii de Munte and Sinaia. The two largest deliveries throughout the year were in Pitesti — Arges Mall (* square meters) and Shopping Park Pitesti (* square meters).
