According to a survey from September 2024 that was conducted among managers of companies in Japan that were involved in IT modernization and had an annual revenue of more than ** billion Japanese yen, ** percent of the respondents stated that there was a lack of knowledge, skills, and experience regarding automation at their company. It was the most commonly given internal barrier regarding the automation of system development and operation, followed by a lack of time and low expectations reagrding the results.
