As of June 2022, around half of LGBT+ adults aged between 18 and 64 surveyed in the United States had an ongoing health condition requiring regular monitoring, medical care, or medication. On the other hand, the share of non-LGBT+ adults within the same age group who had such a health condition stood at 45 percent.
