In 2023, the total volume of natural gas consumed and exported from Israel reached about 24.7 billion cubic meters (BCM). This reflected an almost 13 percent increase from the previous year. Most of this growth can be attributed to the export market. The largest amount of gas used locally was for electricity, reaching 10.4 BCM most recently.Â
