Out of all German Olympians who participated in the 2024 Olympics in Paris, basketball star Dennis Schröder by far had the highest earned media value at around 20 million euros. Soccer player Lena Oberdorf followed in second place with estimated earnings of around six million euros.  The term, “earned media value”, or EMV for short, is the market value of an influencer within social media. It is not only relevant how high the number of clicks and likes are, but also how effective an influencer's campaign or advertising campaign is.
