Survey participants were asked "Should the EU impose uniform disclosure requirements for all financial products regardless of their sustainability related claims?".

This data was generated using information from 288 respondents, whole survey group details are below.

The survey group was made up of 324 organizations and individuals coming from; Financial market participants (FMPs) and financial advisers comprised the largest group of respondents (63%), insurance companies (14%), and banks (10%), and NGOs (11%).

Respondents were primarily from EU countries, with France (23%), Germany (10%), Belgium (7%), Spain (6%), and Luxembourg (6%) being the most represented (totaling 52%). Approximately 19% of respondents were from non-EU countries, predominantly the UK (11%) and the U.S. (5%).

Citation formats

The vast majority of those surveyed felt that the European Union should impose uniform Sustainable Finance Disclosures Regulation (SFDR) for all financial products, regardless of sustainability claims. Almost ** percent of respondents were in favor of uniform disclosure requirements, with *** responses having noted "to a large extent" or "to a very large extent".
