According to a survey of teenagers in the United States conducted in April 2024, 56 percent of respondents who have class discussions about generative artificial intelligence (AI) agreed that AI will have a positive impact on their school learning. In comparison, 37 percent of U.S. teens who did not engage in AI-related conversations with their peers and teachers considered AI as a possible contributor to better learning at school. Additionally, around 87 percent of young AI users who had a class on AI reported seeing is as a potential cheating tool.
