In a survey conducted in September 2024, stark divisions between Democrats and Republicans emerged regarding their expectations for election-related problems. According to the survey, nearly two-thirds of Republicans were expecting people to use illegal or fraudulent means to cast votes, compared to just 21 percent of Democrats.Â
