According to the source, the value of imports generally refers to the statistical value (cross-border value). The statistical value usually results from the invoiced price for a product, whereby a cost accrual is to be made free German border. Customs duties, taxes or other charges are not included in the statistical value. In the case of imports after processing, the value of the goods is deemed to be the value of the goods before processing plus the processing costs and other costs free border. In the case of goods transport that is carried out free of charge or as part of a reportable rental or leasing transaction, the value is deemed to be the market price of the goods that would presumably have been realized in the event of a purchase/sale. The same applies to deliveries of goods between affiliated companies for which internal transfer prices have been recognized.
