In 2023, Poland ranked first by value added in the mining and quarrying industry among the 27 countries presented in the ranking. Poland's value added amounted to 11.06 billion Euros, while Germany and Spain, the second and third countries, had records amounting to 4.88 billion Euros and 3.41 billion Euros, respectively.
