On European crowdfunding platforms, backers' age distributions varied greatly by model and region in 2022. In the equity model, investors aged 36-45 were the predominant group in Eastern Europe, accounting for ** percent of investors in 2022. In Northern Europe, the market was dominated by even younger investors, aged 26-35, who made up ** percent. Conversely, in Western Europe, older investors, aged 46 and above, were the dominant group, representing ** percent of investors. In Southern Europe, however, no single age group dominated the market, showing a more balanced distribution across different age groups.
